For this semester, WFLA Roots and Shoots mainly focuses on imparting traditional activities and departments and at the same time pays attention to further development. Routine recycling department finished regular activities every Tuesday, including wasted paper and plastic bottles recycling; The Uniform recycling department held a uniform recycling activity on international campus and started DIY project using the clothes they collected; MTP collected and categorized the wasted paper and began to create the scratch books in order to reuse the resources. At the same time, we cooperated with AR-pen to make innovative progress to the activities. In this semester, we held regular activities 11 times, reflection meetings 3 times and one uniform recycling activity. The expense which is nearly ¥200 was spent on poster making and the gifts for the donator of recycled uniforms. It is spent from group saving from previous years.

Although we mainly concentrated on the routine activities this semester and we are still planning on the activities of Eco-Week, all the group members learnt something from Roots and Shoots. We steadily completed every routine activity and by doing so, we wanted to fully publicize our concept for environmental protection on campus. We want to lead an environmental friendly lifestyle and incorporate this concept into every student and teacher’s habit. This is the goal of our group activities.

For further activities, we will try our best to make more considerate plans, promote the influence of our group on campus and encourage more people to support us.
