During the training, professional journalists Yang Wei and Wu Dongping, using their personal experience, instructed us on the difference between media script and news scripts, composition structures, the key values of news, photography skills, and interview skills. The three-hour long training was very rewarding for us Young Journalists. We learned a lot regarding interviewing and photography. Jin Qi from Southwest Weiyu Middle School said, “I didn’t know how to write a news script. I now know how after the training. I know what to be careful of. I feel that I’ve learnt a lot.”
