EVENT DETAILS:
The annual Society Festival is a program at High School Attached to Shanghai Normal University that students are very enthusiastic about. This year, the R&S played a mini drama ,which was directed and performed by the members of R&S, attempting to convey the importance of environmental protection. The members made full use of the leisure time to rehearse in school, and all the hard work was rewarded with the audience’s applause. With the success of this performance, the members are determined to create an even better one next year.
Wu Yue from Class 2 Senior One stated: “I joined in many performances of the Society Festival this year, and the play of R&S was the most impressive. In fact, long before we stood on stage, the leader of R&S made us practice our lines and motions extensively. We had to rehearse everyday after school for half an hour. Finally, after two months of hard work, we succeeded in performing!”.
Wang Xiao Wei from Class 3 Senior One: All in all, the performance was great! It seemed that our hard work of rehearsal really paid off. We had a busy time practicing our lines. At that time, we should hurry to the rehearsal room after having lunch. With lots of discussion and improvement, we successfully passed when examined by the teacher before the formal performance. Despite being busy with arranging the microphones and forgetting to answer a curtain call, when learning that our play appealed to the students, I was proud.
Chen Han Sheng from Class 3 Senior One also said: “I felt honored to take part in the play of R&S this year. During the whole performance everyone had great energy, and cooperation, conveying their devotion and enthusiasm to environmental protection. I dedicated myself to this performance because I was deeply affected by the member’s work ethic. I’m grateful to have joined in this activity. Moreover, I will continue to support any activity that R&S holds and other meaningful activities as well, in the ambition to make our community and environment a better place.”
