Save the Earth, One Fork at a Time!

Delivery in Shanghai just got a little bit greener!  As of April 1^st, Sherpa’s delivery service is partnering with the Million Tree Project in the fight against desertification and climate change.  To help reduce their carbon footprints, and ours the company will now be charging 1RMB for each cutlery package with you order, and donating half of the profits to Shanghai Roots & Shoots’ Million Tree Project!  This will aim to reduce the 60,000-70,000 cutlery packs they go through monthly, and help to offset their operating emissions by planting oxygen-producing trees.  Shanghai Roots & Shoots has now planted 1,000,000 trees with the help of participating schools, organizations, and business such as Sherpa’s, and is now starting on the second million-tree forest with their continuing support and enthusiasm.  All trees are planted in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia during the spring, and will help to reforest the land, stop the encroaching desert, and clear our air of pollution.
