EVENT DETAILS:

This semester, members of the Environmental Science Association planted green beans in our organic farm. Using only organic material, we tried to meet the standard of green agriculture while experiencing the process. Through the activity, we aimed to provide members of our association with a chance to plant vegetables in an organic way.During the period of 23 April to 11 June, we applied water and fertilizer at noon every day. The gardeners of our school maintained our work while we were busy with our studies. In light of the daily burden, the number of  participants ranged around 3-8 each time.

In addition to cultivating green beans, decorations like fences and signs were added to enhance our organic garden. The green beans that were harvested were sent to the cafeteria while the rest were brought home.The decrease in members has always been an obstacle. I hope that, through better advertisement, we can encourage more students to participate in our activities in the future.
