2017 Shanghai R&S Youth Leadership Training

On September 23rd and 24st, Shanghai Roots & Shoots held “Green Leadership Training” at Shanghai New York University (NYU Shanghai). During these two days, 118 representatives from Roots & Shoots Groups in 35 universities and high schools attended the training. Besides, 6 distinguished tutors from different fields were invited to present six workshops.
- Shuye Cao, CEO of WELAND EDU, taught practical group management skills.
- Weiwei Jing, certified senior Manpower Management Tutor and psychological counselor, addressed a time control course.
- Lv Zhang, travel expert from YETRAVEL, showed impressive photos taken by himself in Africa.
- Cherry Huang, senior bilingual lecturer from University of Disney, helped participates enhance their communication and expression skills.
- Yuanchao Huang, Executive Director of Yes Cultural Media, and one of the “Top Ten New Entrepreneurs” in Jing’an District, instructed students how to operate their own media platforms.
- Pei Shen, foreign cooperation and market leader of CEIBS, led us break the mindset and build creative thinking mode.
Associate Professor of Environmental Science of NYU Shanghai, Yifei Li shared his experience of being a Roots & Shoots volunteer and leading some green initiatives on campus. Moreover, the NYU student club “The Green Shanghai” shared their featured activities like the Trash Fashion Show.
