With the development of society and the outbreak of the COVID-19 in 2020, electronic devices use has become more prevalent which puts greater pressure on children’s eyes, reflected by the fact that the eye diseases of students such as myopia have become more serious with a trend of emerging at a younger age. The KidStrong Project of Shanghai Roots & Shoots interviewed Mr. Wei, the director of Ophthalmology, and senior optometrist Chen Tingting of Shanghai Ren’ai Hospital to help the public understand what myopia is and to answer questions related to myopia.
