GreenCross is a group of Young Volunteers Association in the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China which mainly focuses on the promotion of environmental protection. Since its establishment, the group members have launched a series of activities, including the posting of water-saving and energy-saving signs, updating of paper-saving posters in computer labs, ID labeling for special campus plants and designing of Green Promise and the campus Green Map. GreenCross dedicates itself to enhancing the general awareness of environmental protection and energy conservation among staff and students of UNNC, and to encourage a healthy lifestyle closer to the nature. The GreenCross members believe that our environment can be truly improved though joint efforts, just as their slogan goes “Save the earth, small actions do!”
