KidStrong丨Givaudan’s Volunteering Activities on Teeth-caring

The long term partner Givaudan started its partnership with KidStorng in 2012. It has already been  four years that Givaudan staff volunteers have participated in the eye-protection events for the migrant children. In 2016, Givaudan volunteers have turned to a new page with KidStrong students focusing on their teeth care.

On May 24, nine staff volunteers from Givaudan, after training, came to give teeth-protection classes for all the second graders in Changlin Migrant School. The classes were designed to raise the children’s awareness of good oral hygiene habits during the period of turning deciduous teeth into permanent ones. Afterwards, these children received hygiene kits from the volunteers including teeth-brush and tooth-paste.

One of the volunteers, Hui Lin said, “A good company will always encourage its staff to get involved in charities. I didn’t only harvest happiness but also learned the teeth protection knowledge which is totally unknown for me and is quite important for both my children and me.”

The other volunteer Wang Ting said, “It is my first time to take part in the charity events of our company. The children were so happy when we delivered the hygiene kits, which touches me a lot. Maybe during our life, a small action can make others feel touched.”
