April Dental Care Classes for Migrant Children

Educating migrant students the importance of dental care has always been an important part of work for KidStrong. On April 24^th and 26^th 2013, volunteers from Shanghai United Family Hospital delivered dental care class to fifth graders of Maqiao Migrant School in Minhang district, and Changlin Migrant School in Pudong. Those volunteers are nurses from the dental department. They have great patience and skills to teach the students knowledge about preventative dental care, by using simple language, vivid photos, priced quizzes, and demonstration. The students enjoyed the class a lot. Volunteers from the hospital will deliver two more classes to students at Jinde Migrant School and Limin Migrant School in Pudong district on May 9^th and May 10^th.
