BHBP KidStrong Program Activity

On the 24^th of October 2014, the grade three students of Shouchun Migrant School in Pudong New District which is one of KidStrong partner schools of KidStrong program, welcomed the volunteers from BHBP on the school campus. These students spent a joyful as well as cheerful afternoon with BHBP volunteers.

BHBP volunteers were trained by the staff of Roots&Shoots at theBHBP Office before the activity. The training included how to give eye protection lessons and how to organize outdoor games. After that, the nine volunteers went to Shouchun Migrant Shool to give lessons on eye protection to four classes of grade three students. And then,they divided one class into several groups to have basketball gameslike two people walking together back to back with a basketball carried between their backs, and dribbling across obstacles. As a result, students not only learned but also exercised through this joyful experience. We hope they will grow up happily and healthily withKidStrong Program.
