Eco-Enzymes Let Love Grow
May.19.2015
On May 16th, 2015, a sunny Saturday afternoon, sixteen environment-loving employees from Givaudan came as volunteers to the Daliah Restaurant to the Eco-Enzyme workshop organized by KidStrong.
Daliah is a uniquely-styled restaurant; instead of chairs, swings are hung next to each table. On top of this, a slide snakes its way from the second floor to the first. In this paradise-like restaurant, the volunteers from Givaudan finished this workshop.
The trainer, Li Jie, is from one of the world’s top 500 corporations. Since first being exposed to enzyme practice and advocacy over two years ago, Li has put all his extra time into enzyme-public promotion activities.
The workshop introduced the origins of enzymes, as well as everything from their functions to making process. The volunteers understood the magical functions of enzymes—they help maintain health and are beneficial for the environment. After the workshop finished, the volunteers, eager to give it a try, decided to get to work with the enzymes at home. Not only did they put it to practice themselves, but they also brought the project to the KidStrong school – Limin Migrant School’s students to make enzyme fruit juice. This will let them learn about health and live a healthy lifestyle while having fun at the same time.
