“Happily Volunteering Together”—The Volunteer Carnival

On December 4^th, the evening before the 26th International Volunteer’s Day,  the Shanghai Office of Culture and Shanghai Volunteers Association collaborated to host the “Happy Volunteering Together” Volunteer Carnival in the Shanghai Gymnasium. As an affiliate of Shanghai Volunteer Association, Shanghai R&S was invited to join this event.

On the event site, R&S prepared a “Low-carbon, Eco-friendly” display. The presentation publicized and promoted eco-friendly ideas, the production of recycled paper, and a game about sorting trash. The vice Secretary of the Municipal Committee, Yicui Ying, the Municipal Committee, and the minister of Publicity Department, Zhenwu Yang, visited the Shanghai R&S stall; they met and chatted with the young volunteers and showed gratitude towards their dedication.  They also sent their approval and support to the activities created by Shanghai  R&S.
