MTP on Olympic Opening Ceremony

We are very glad to inform you that the scene of million trees project volunteers planting trees appeared on the Rio Olympic Opening Ceremony.

It’s an honor for MTP as well as a recognition of our endeavor. More than 300 cooperates and organizations have supported MTP for years, and tens of thousands of individuals contributed to fight desertification and climate change. With the generous support from everyone, we’ve planted nearly TWO million trees with a general survival rate of 67.92%.

We started small but dream big.

The earth’s rising temperature and wilting ice sheet are the reminder of climate change. The Rio Olympic advocates worldwide to take action.
