EVENT DETAILS:

In April,we held a campaign called “Project Era” that emphasized garbage classification. First, a representative was selected to give a speech about Roots and Shoots and garbage classification. Afterwards, we set up posters constructed out of biodegradable materials,with the slogan “Be an Environmental Protection Guard, Create a Green Campus.”A trash can was placed on each floor and was labeled for the campaign usage. These trashcans were to be used to recycle un-wanted books and other materials, like paper. On the first day of each month, we would collect all the books and waste paper and sell them. The money that we collect will be donated to the Million Tree Project and help them with their goal in Inner Mongolia. We will also hold a contest and choose a winner, this participant will receive a badge and other small presents. We will also advertise in the school regularly, to strengthen the school teachers’ and students’ environmental awareness. Let us create a green campus.
