Event Details:

On Sep 18th 2012, the meeting of the foundation of the group of Roots and Shoots were held in Zhuanqiao Center Elementary School in Minhang District.

It was also the first activity of this group.The activity was joined by the members of Shanghai Wildlife Conservation Association, the leader of the elementary school, the teacher Qiong Zhu from Roots and Shoots and about 30 group members.

The Roots and Shoots group in Zhuanqiao Center Elementary School were first founded in the December of 2008. Those student members were the fifth group of the members in this group.

In the activity, Miss Zhu introduced to the group members the story of Doctor Goodall and the history of Roots and Shoots. Then she talked about the activities in Zhuanqiao Center Elementary School.After that, the leaders of the group were elected in every class. Every leader got a badge of Roots and Shoots.Finally, a Knowledge quiz on animals was held and did some prepare work for next time.Time flied very fast in a releasing and exciting condition.The student members were all looking for the next activity.
