The Fuxing Pharmaceutical Genealogical Day Activities
On May 28th, two members of Shanghai Roots & Shoots Youth Activity Center attended the Fuxing Pharmaceutical Genealogical Day Activity.
When we first arrived at Century Park, we were energized by its liveliness. During preparation of the activity, we saw parents and children playing in the park together. The activities commenced with a short and straightforward speech. Afterwards, with the sun shining down on, we began playing a game called “Tree of Life”. With the kids’ active participation, we all split into groups and started playing. The games ran smoothly and were very interesting. When we found out that Fuxing Pharmacy brought a tree for everyone in attendance, everyone clapped to show their excitement and gratitude. I hoped the seedlings would sprout and spread its roots in the hearts of the adults and the kids. We watched the rest of the activities from the sidelines; the Zongzi-folding competition were especially fun to watch. By the end of the competition, we were all laughing.
Today’s activities were fun and unforgettable. I hope more people will learn about trees and recognize the importance they have in protecting the environment and thus on us humans; We are all responsible in protecting the environment, join the effort!
