Jul.29.2014
Fast Company (Dec. 21, Korngold) identifies the four trends of corporate social responsibility that came out in 2010 amidst accountability questions, conflicting reports, visionary executives, and commitments to advance social and environmental progress because it is good business.
The first trend is that leadership matters, because the vision of an executive is necessary to advance global solutions. The fact that consumers really do care is the second trend. Third, measurement of corporate responsibility matters, because consumers do look for evidence of a company’s true impact. The fourth trend for CSR in 2010 is that accountability and integrity matter, a reminder to companies that their communications must be honest and candid.
