It was drizzling on April 27th when I went to Yangjing Middle School, this was my second trip to the school to teach an environment protection class. Once there, I led the students in a bag-painting activity. Although high school students generally do not take these lessons too seriously, and tend to do homework instead, they happily put away their other work when they found out that they could paint their own environment-friendly bags.
Of course, there was one girl who just wrote some letters on the bag, then went right back to doing homework. This hurt me a little bit.
When all the painting supplies were ready, some students were indecisive; they did not know what to draw. After some time, however, their bags were all decorated with impressive, cute drawings.
This one is my favorite; the painting is just as cute as the painter.
Some of the students followed my advice to paint environment-related designs.
And these bags are also filled with their own thoughts.
Eventually, the lesson ended in good fun and laughter.
