YES International Forum Invition
November 9, Sunday
Shanghai New York University上海纽约大学
(Address: 1555 Century Avenue, Pudong 浦东世纪大道1555号)
Started in 2005, Youth for Environmental Sustainability Program (YES), focuses on localizing education for sustainable development. In the 10th Anniversary of YES, we aims to bring researchers, educators and practitioners to exchange perspectives, views, innovations and best practices nationally and globally in addressing education for sustainable development (ESD) in the YES International Forum. YES International Forum will share the achievements and experiences of YES practices within recent ten years so as to advance the ESD in China as well.
At the same time, we invited seven outstanding educators, workshop facilitators/instructors around the world to share their ideas, experiences and practices through interactive workshops at the YES International Forum in Shanghai, P.R. China. They will also share and discuss their understanding of ESD in China with teachers and parents from China in the panel discussion after Jane Goodall’s keynote speech on Nov. 9 at Shanghai New York University.
We welcome you to listen, observe, speak out, and participate in this day which highlights the best practices in sustainable development in education. I hope that you will take away many ideas, and implement all of them.
