Your Life Can Be Greener

On April 22, the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, the Ecology and Environment Bureau of Huangpu District started the “Green Ideas” Contest calling out greener actions in life, undertaken by Shanghai Roots & Shoots.
The contest information was re-posted by over ten Wechat media at the very beginning and in total got over 200,000 hit rates. Within two weeks after launching, 122 pieces of works were collected from all over the country including easy-to-go inventions, old-to-new alterations, ecological promotions and art crafts.
Besides, 4 judges from environment-protection-oriented companies or organisations were invited for two rounds of selections so that 39 winning works were selected into the final.
