The Roots & Shoots group has been flourishing at Shanghai Jiao Tong University High School since 2006. In just two short years, our efforts have led to an atmosphere of environmental protection around the school.We’ve been recognized with school awards for our hard work. Raising donations for tree planting in Inner Mongolia, we collected 4000 yuan. We also took on the Eco-Campus program. We investigated utilization of school resources, organized an environmental awareness contest, launched an organic farm, and carried out a recycling drive.Though we are happy with our achievements, we are most proud of the smiling faces of our members. The Roots & Shoots group has tempered our ability, expanded our experiences and inspired every member participating in our community environmental protection activities.
