Mint Green Club of Shanghai International Studies University was established in 2002, which is one of the oldest clubs of practice and the only club of environmental protection. The club is full of vitality and spirit of practice and has been awarded “star-club” in the university for several times.

Mint Green Club aims at promoting environmental protection and putting it into practice. We devote ourselves to holding various activities of green and commonweal so as to advocate the perspective of low-carbon lifestyle. Although as a school excelling at language education, there is no environmental-protection-related major in Shanghai International Studies University, there is a group of students who own great passion towards environmental protection. With the exposure to the idea of environmental protection, environmental awareness of the public has gradually been strengthened. What we desire to do is to offer a platform for students to put the idea of environmental protection into practice in a convenient way. We hope to let every student in our school know about environmental protection ,pay attention to it and promote it with us.

Mint Green Club has cooperated with Shanghai Roots & Shoots since 2011. The club collaborated with Shanghai Futian environmental education station in 2012. In the future, wo also hope that we can make more contribution in the field.
