The“Green Friend” environmental protection association of Shanghai JiaotongUniversity is among the first student groups to join the Jane Goodall Institute. Founded in August 1998, with the slogan of “Make friends with the green environment, and be a green friend” our association has taken part in many fruitful environmental campaigns in the past ten years.For five years, we ran the battery recycling campaign; other highlights include the “fruit as greeting cards” campaign, exposition board recycle, environmental movie show, etc. The fact that we have been awarded as one of the ten best student organizations for two consecutive years encourages and motivates us to go further.Make friends with the green environment, and be a green friend. On our journey towards environmental protection, the “Green Friend” association will continue on.
