YES Café – “I Chocolate U” for Christmas

Dec.20.2014

Before this Christmas, we prepared a chocolate party –  “I Chocolate U” on Dec 19th 2014. Handmade chocolate is always the best choice for beloved ones or for ourselves as a festival present.

We prepared 5 methods of making different chocolate, such as chocolate reshaping, nut or oat chocolate, marshmallow chocolate, chocolate biscuits and chocolate rose.   A majority of these are easy. For example, you need to put nut, currant, oat into the hot chocolate, and then just wait for cooling. Or you can smear the marshmallow and biscuits with hot chocolate. However, chocolate rose is more difficult than these. Under the premise that you control the temperature and humidity appropriately, you should paste the petal one by one. This needs a lot of patience.

The participants consisted of volunteers and primary school children. The young preferred the challenge of handmade chocolate roses, but the children preferred to use the material to build their “Chocolate Factory”

Finally, the Christmas YES Café ended Christmas carols. Everyone was waiting to taste their chocolates. Happiness will boom in everyone’s heart during this Christmas as sweet as it could be.
