Mid-Autumn Celebration 2013

Sep.8.2013

The Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival was hosted by Shanghai Roots & Shoots on September 8, 2013.

We prepared the materials for making lanterns. The kids were extremely interested in making lanterns. So were the parents.

Some of the kids made lanterns with ethnic characteristics, others succeeded in combining traditional patterns with modern ones with the help Roots & Shoots staff.

We hope that more students learn to appreciate and enjoy traditions that are passed down from generation to generation.
