Peter Rabbit’s Forest Party

Mar.7.2018

On March 3rd, Shanghai Roots & Shoots held a creative environmental workshop “Peter Rabbit’s Forest Party”. The whole party was held from 1p.m. to 4p.m. at Huaxin Haixin Building.

The idea came from the upcoming movie Peter Rabbit, which is an animated adventure comedy film directed by Will Gluck from a screenplay by Gluck and Rob Lieber, based on the stories of the character of the same name created by Beatrix Potter. The film mainly talks about the story among Peter Rabbit, his cousin Benjamin, and his triplet sisters Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail, spend most of their days picking on Mr. McGregor and stealing his vegetables from his garden.

At workshop, participants got the chance to meet Peter Rabbit in advance. Various “craftsmen” in blue shirts created their hand-made environmental gadget with Peter Rabbit. Corrugated papers turned into cute key chains, and card papers turned into unique facemasks. There are also yummy food and special presents from Peter Rabbit in the forest party. The luckiest participants even got the ticket to the movie!

It was absolutely a wonderful party. Participants not only had fun with handcrafts and the cute Peter Rabbit, but also explored their creativity and achieved deeper environmental awareness.
