Run for the Mother River

On September 12th, a city run was launched by the Youth League Committee of Zhabei District, the Youth Daily and Ali Welfare.
This event was to arouse the awareness of protect the mother river of the metropolis, which attracted hundreds of runners from different corners of the city. Besides, 6 local NGOs/NPOs, including Shanghai Roots & Shoots, were invited to the event, to promote their mission on environment protection.
All the fund that has been raised from the event will both support local environmental NGOs and be awarded to the coming 10 “Green Guardians of Shanghai” who have contributed a lot to our environment.
