The 2010 Organic Pot Plant Competition Comes to an End

The 2010 autumn semester Organic Pot Plant competition ended on January 22th, 2011. Among the twelve schools that participated, only three entered the finals. These schools include: Shanghai Donghua University, Qingpu High School, and Hanghua First Primary School.
The final was a virtual auction of the potted plants. We invited YES members and volunteers from organic farms as honored guests. The species of plants for auction include Forget-Me-Nots, Liuliqu, Mint, as well as Cherry Radishes.
The students from each school introduced their plants and tried to win the favor of the guests. Finally, after calculating the scores, Hanghua First Primary School won the championship, and was awarded a farm starting tools kit worth 500 Yuan.
We congratulate all participating schools and hope even more will participate next year.
