| “Zero Elevator Week” is a traditional project conducted in our school every year. We call on students and teachers to experience one week without the elevator and to walk instead, which is healthy, environmentally-friendly, and enjoyable.
The signing activity was held on Dec.8th, the first day of the “Zero Elevator Week”. Everyone who signed their name on the poster could get a packet of seeds. More than a hundred people signed on the poster and promised not to use the elevator within the week. After the signing, we stuck the poster on the wall beside the elevator. Although we couldn’t really evaluate whether the participants had kept their promises or not, our group members saw many friends choose walking during the week. We’re glad that our promotion of the green idea proved effective, and we hope that more people can keep this environmentally-friendly habit. |
