Our school was established in1917.The environmental education has been the feature of running school for years. We try our best to raise the environmental awareness of the whole school.
Hand in Hand, the work of global village, is ongoing in our school. From October 2002, our school established the Global Village Committee and elected village cadres. The committee was led by the Young Pioneers Headquarters. All classes and teacher’s offices were equipped with bins which could recycle waste in separate collection way. Besides, Young Pioneer’s Recovery Team was set up to recycle household waste in community. What’s more, on the International Labor Day and the National Day, we organized the family social practice. We mobilized parents and their children to went clean the rubbish in the streets, which strengthened the communication and emotion between parents and their children. The concept of the environmental protection was passed to every citizen by the activities which had a strong social radiation.
