Training For New Members Of The R&S Think Tank
Apr.6.2014
The recruitment for the R&S think tank started in March, 2014. After two weeks of interviews, 8 candidates from high schools, universities and companies finally stood out of more than 20 applicants, and joined the big family of the R&S think tank.
The training began with the history of R&S, emphasizing the role that the think tank played in the organization. Next came an ice-breaking game, which was essential in the first meeting between new and old members. During the game, the members got to know each other and were impressed by the cohesion of this team.
After self-introduction in a relaxing atmosphere, the secretary general briefed on think tank rules, responsibilities and benefits. Then one of the old members, Zhang Yang, shared his experience with R&S and the growth and changes it brought to him. At the same time, he encouraged all the new members to make the best use of their talents and contribute to both the think tank and environmental causes. Inspired by his speech, all the new members participated actively in the following activity discussion and put forward a good number of good ideas.
At 3:00 p.m., the training ended. New members not only obtained a general knowledge of the think tank but also were empowered to make a difference. We look forward to their great work in the days to come.
